Weather: Clouds on the way

Clouds increased this morning, with a 60 per cent chance of showers. There was a risk of a thunderstorm this afternoon. The high is predicted at 25 Celsius, though with the humidity it will feel like 33.

Water testing indicated swimming would be possible at Westboro, Mooney’s Bay and Petrie Island River beaches. Petrie Island East Bay had a high E.coli count and swimming was not recommended.

It should be partly cloudy tonight with a 30 per cent chance of showers and still the possibility of a thunderstorm.

Monday, we may see a mix of sun and clouds with a 30 per cent chance of showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon.

It will be clear overnight with only a 30 per cent chance of showers.

Tuesday: clouds, 60 per cent chance of showers, high 30 C.

Overnight to Wednesday, the temperature is predicted to drop to around 17 C, with clouds and possibility of rain.

Wednesday the clouds continue, with rain possible, but a high of 29 C.

Thursday and Friday look like a mix of sun and cloud with showers possible and the high temperatures continuing.

So far, for next weekend, it looks cloudy with the chance of rain.
