No new cases have been recorded in regional Victoria.
One case has been added to the total number of mystery cases in the past two weeks, taking the total to 15.
There are now 25 active cases in aged care facilities, five fewer than yesterday, and 14 healthcare workers who are infected with COVID-19.
There are 21 Victorians in hospital due to COVID-19, two fewer than yesterday, none of whom are in intensive care units.
About 15,400 tests were received in the past 24 hours, about 500 fewer than yesterday.
“It is such an important thing to do and, again, the message as it is every day, because it is so important, if you have got symptoms, no matter how mild, please don’t wait,” Mr Andrews said.
“Please go and got tested today. Please go and get tested as soon as those symptoms are apparent to you. The number of days that you have symptoms and don’t get tested, those exposure days, as they are known, that is when you will be almost certainly infecting other people and they, in turn, can be infecting other people.”
