Tottenham XI vs Fulham: Confirmed early team news, predicted lineup, latest injuries for Premier League
Jose Mourinho had the luxury of leaving Hugo Lloris, Serge Aurier, Eric Dier, Harry Winks, Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, Steven Bergwijn and Harry Kane at home for Sunday’s FA Cup win at eighth-tier Marine, while Son Heung-min and Tanguy Ndombele were unused substitutes.
They can all expect to return to Mourinho’s Spurs side for the rearranged visit of Fulham, leaving the manager with few selection decisions.
In fact, the Portuguese’s nine-man bench may prove harder to pick than his XI following impressive performances from fringe players Joe Rodon, Harvey White, Dele Alli and Carlos Vinicius on Sunday.
The only real decisions for the Spurs boss are Winks or Moussa Sissoko in midfield and Ben Davies or Sergio Reguilon at left-back.
Being the fresher, Winks will hope to get the nod over the Frenchman, despite his well-taken goal in last week’s win over Brentford, while Reguilon is likely to be preferred to Davies after only playing the final 20 minutes on Merseyside.
Gareth Bale can expect to be on the bench after returning to action on Sunday, while Erik Lamela is available for selection again.
Tottenham likely line-up (4-2-3-1): Lloris; Aurier, Alderweireld, Dier, Reguilon; Hojbjerg, Winks; Son, Ndombele, Bergwijn; Kane.
