Thiago Alcantara’s private reaction to Bayern Munich scoring in the Champions League final showed just how much the team means to him.

The Spaniard, who has been heavily linked with a move to Liverpool this month, dropped to his knees, closed his eyes and punched the air with both hands.

It may well be his final appearance for the German giants.

He may well be just days away from putting pen to paper at Liverpool and saying goodbye to Bavaria, the state he has called home since 2013.

What’s more, Thiago is ready to go.

He’s sold his house in Munich, according to reports, and is excited at the prospect of trying his hand in the Premier League.

Of course, transfers are always subject to change.

But if this does prove to be his final match for Bayern Munich, then what a superb and fitting way for him to check out.
