Here is some great news of all fans of Ram Pothineni. The handsome actor has announced his new project. Ram Pothineni is teaming up Tamil filmmaker Lingusamy for a new movie. It is going to be a Tamil-Telugu film. This is also his foray into Tamil cinema. Srinivasa Chitturi will be producing it. The film was announced by Ram Pothineni on social media. This is his 19th project. Ram Pothineni has made fans and critics sit up with his last two films, iSmart Shankar and Red. Both of them were box-office successes. Ram Pothineni wrote the above on Twitter, “I’ve waited a long time for this! #RAPO19 – a Telugu-Tamil Bi-lingual with one of my fav @dirlingusamy sir. Filmmaker Lingusamy is known for his films like Sandakozhi, Paiyaa, Vettai and others. His last film was Sandakozhi 2 with Vishal and Varalaxmi Sarathkumar in lead roles. It came out in 2018 and got appreciation from both fans and critics. After three years, Lingusamy has announced this film. Ram Pothineni is hailed as one of the best talents in the Telugu film industry. He has won awards right from his debut with Devadasu (2007). His film, iSmart Shankar was not liked by many. Ram Pothineni told The Hindu, “You didn’t like it? Never mind……I’ll do one for you soon. This is for those who prayed for my success and wanted to see me in a tapori’s role. I was lucky I was able to do mass and class roles very early in my career and the kind of energy both gave is different. I went through a beautiful phase of six months and there was an invisible pressure on me. I had a fan climbing the Tirumala steps on his knees praying for the film to work.”
