ST. JOHN’S, N.L. – Newfoundland and Labrador is reporting 25 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 today.

All of the new diagnoses are in the eastern health region, which includes St. John’s, with four of the cases previously reported as presumptive.

Health officials say there is also one presumptive positive case still awaiting confirmation.

The new cases include 13 people under the age of 20, one person between 20 and 39, six in their 40s, three people in their 50s and two in their 60s.

Officials are also reporting 29 new recoveries in the St. John’s area since Saturday and say the province now has a total of 430 active infections.

They are also asking passengers who travelled on Air Canada Flight 8773 from St. John’s to Montreal on Feb. 15 to arrange testing.
