Shah Rukh Khan doing a film with Atlee, Ranbir Kapoor working with Sandeep Reddy Vanga, top Bollywood stars are keen to collaborate with makers from South India. With these actors making a foray, how could Ranveer Singh be left behind. As per a report published in a South tabloid, it looks like Shankar of Enthiran might come up with a film with Ranveer Singh. As of now, Shankar is working on Indian 2 with superstar Kamal Haasan. Some days back, he announced a movie with Telugu hottie Ram Charan. It is supposed to be a pan-India film.
This movie is going to be in Hindi and the script has to be approved from both the filmmaker’s and actor’s end. If everything works out as planned, we can expect an announcement soon. It seems Shankar wants to finish this movie before he begins his work on Ram Charan’s pan-India film. Filmmaker Shankar who is known for glossy masterpieces like Enthiran and I had done Hindi movies before. In 2001, he directed Nayak starring Anil Kapoor and Rani Mukerji. It seems the initiative was taken by Ranveer Singh’s team in Chennai. They approached Shankar’s team to check if there was a film suitable for the two. It seems one of the scripts resembled Anniyan, which was made by S Shankar in 2005. It is a known fact that S Shankar is a fan of Ranveer Singh’s work. He had also tweeted his appreciation after seeing the actor’s phenomenal work as Alauddin Khilji in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmaavat.
