FIVE KEYS TO THE GAME

1.THE DYNAMIC DUO

It’s not exactly a secret that Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl are exceptionally good at this whole hockey thing. Even by their own extremely high standards, though, they’re off to a breathtaking start to the 2021 season. McDavid is leading the NHL with 24 points and seems like his highlights are headlining SportsCentre every other night, while Draisaitl is second in league-scoring with 22 points. This is probably true for every Oilers matchup this season, but limiting the damage McDavid and Draisaitl can do will be the key to whether it’s a good night or a bad night for the Flames.
