Christine McGuinness digs at celebrities ‘p***ing off to Dubai during lockdown’ after fans kept asking if she’s had her hair done.
The Real Housewives of Cheshire star was speaking in a video on her Instagram story, addressing questions fans had been asking her.
Christine, 32, and husband Paddy are spending the third lockdown with their three children at home in Cheshire.
She said in one of her latest chats with her 500,000 followers: “It’s absolutely freezing here in Cheshire, it’s -2 – luckily I’m not going anywhere…!”
Christine went on: “Loads of you keep asking where I get my hair done – come on, I am not one of those p***ing off to Dubai during lockdown, so I’m certainly not going to go to the hairdresser am I?”
RHOC co-star Dawn Ward has recently defended her trip to the United Arab Emirates with fellow housewife Nicole Sealey after being accused of breaching COVID rules.
Other celebrities and social media influencers have also made the trip out to the city which is currently on the government’s travel corridor list meaning people do not need to self-isolate on their return.
Christine had earlier answered fans who had asked her why she hasn’t been on holiday.
“A few of you have asked why I haven’t gone on holiday… as soon as it’s safe – I really want to but for now I just can’t,” Christine replied.
“I love the sunshine! It’s been -2 here in Cheshire, we’ve had lots of snow and it’s been gorgeous but I really need to feel some vitamin D all over me.
“Hopefully sometime this year it will be safe.”
The mum-of-three also spoke this week about how her children have become “physical” with her while struggling with the UK’s third lockdown.
Christine shares twins Penelope and Leo, 7, and four-year-old Felicity with Paddy, and all three being diagnosed with autism.
Sharing a private WhatsApp message she’d sent a friend with her followers, she said: “I totally understand, all three of mine have got more physical with me and each other recently, it’s awful.
Christine continued: “I barely recognise them sometimes and I just paint a smile on like everything is fine.
“Thinking of you lots, stay strong. This time will pass.”
