Call of Duty Warzone Update: Modern Warfare Bunker Locations? How to use Red Access code?
Call of Duty Modern Warfare released a new update to the game early this morning and it seems as though the update might have unlocked one of the games many secrets within Warzone.
The popular Battle Royale mode has been live for a good few months, but ever since launch players have wondered whether they can enter the games many bunkers scattered across the map of Verdansk.
The ability to open the doors seemed even more tantalising when a recent update introduced a mysterious red access keycard – that did absolutely nothing.
Players are this morning reporting that the secret bunker doors are long last opening with use of this keycard. This could, however, be only the first phase in a new long-running mystery within the game, with players also reporting more easter eggs inside as well as telephones and computers which are also hinting at some further changes in the future.
As you might imagine, these secret underground bunkers are full of loot crates, packed with high-value weapons and armor. A treasure trove of goodies if it were.
CALL OF DUTY WARZONE BUNKER LOCATIONS
There’s a grand total of 11 secret bunkers hidden across the map.
Each has an interactable keypad outside which can only be unlocked if you have a red access keycard in your inventory (more on that further down).
If you have a keycard, the door will slowly open.
The map below shows the location of every single secret bunker in Call of Duty Warzone. These are denoted by the green ‘keypad’ dots on the map.
It also details the locations of these laptops and phones, which also seem to be part of the maps ongoing mystery.
For those of you who just absolutely love a list of locations, well you’re in luck.

HOW TO GET A RED ACCESS KEYCARD TO OPEN BUNKERS?
In the event you don’t already have a red access keycard (they have been available for some time in the game, albeit, unuseable) here’s how you can get your hands on one.
Players obtain a red access keycard via a random drop from crates scattered across the map. It’s pot luck, unfortunately.
These red access keycards open the doors on the secret bunkers, however, dataminers believe that the game could soon add green and blue access cards, too.
Presumably, these additional keycards would open the locked bunker doors that players have already noticed in the bunker.
A locked bunker within a bunker. That’s one way to outdo Apex Legends and Fortnite. We guess.
WHAT DO TELEPHONES AND COMPUTERS DO?
No one knows yet, but players have spotted that the phones are now ringing and then plays a message in Russian along with a code.
According to the Redditor Froxion the call translates as:
“To all units! The base is captured, change the encryption!”
“Now… 6-2-3. You heard?”
Whilst it could still be some weeks (months?) before the full secrets are revealed, the latest Call of Duty Modern Warfare and Warzone patch notes – shared earlier this morning by Infinity Ward – is hinting at, something:
“Number station is Protocol Yellow. Activate system. is inbound. Awaiting correct authorization.”
More to follow.
