If you’re going to make a stink about wearing a mask in public, you might want to avoid doing so inside a pharmacy while famous. Bruce Willis learned that lesson yesterday (January 11), when staff at a Rite Aid in Los Angeles gave him the boot for refusing to don his PPE.
Page Six reports that Willis was seen inside the pharmacy without a mask, which worried other customers and led staff to ask the actor to consider the safety of others or leave. Willis refused, opting instead to exit the store without making a purchase. In the commotion, the star was photographed wearing a bandana around his neck that he could have easily used to cover his face.
While the exchange was apparently on the civil side of COVID confrontations, fans are still questioning why Willis didn’t comply with the store’s precautions, especially considering that L.A. is currently experiencing tens of thousands of new coronavirus infections daily.
Earlier this year, the actor went into quarantine with his kids, so it’s unclear if he’s on the COVID denial train now or if yesterday’s confrontation was a one-off.
The weird thing is that Bruce Willis is clearly already wearing a bandana. Why did he put it on if he wasn’t going to wear it? (Or is this another hoax?) pic.twitter.com/5elOb2Y8Ok

Why do privileged pompous pretend heroes refuse to mask up? This times it’s Bruce Willis, refusing to wear a mask in a *pharmacy* of all places! Doesn’t he know you “Die Hard” when CoViD-19 takes away your ability to breath? Does he care if he’s an asymptomatic superspreader? pic.twitter.com/C7KSObzkAa
