Apple iPhone 12 5G released
Apple has launched four versions of the iPhone 12 with faster 5G connectivity which the company hopes will spur a wave of upgrades and keep its sales booming through the end of the year.
There’s the iPhone 12, which Apple says is more durable, with a 6.1-inch display, the same as the iPhone 11 but lighter and thinner, and the iPhone 12 Mini with a 5.4-inch display. They’ll come in black, white, red, green and blue. The Mini is available in Australia for pre-order on November 7 and is priced from $1199. The iPhone 12 is priced from $1349 and is available for pre-order on October 16.
A higher-end iPhone 12 Pro with more powerful cameras comes in silver, graphite, gold and blue, and the 12 Pro Max, with a 6.7-inch display. The iPhone 12 Pro is priced from $1699 and is available for pre-order from October 16. The 12 Pro Max is priced from $1849 and is available for pre-order from November 7.
Apple said it had tested 5G on more than 800 carriers in 30 regions globally.
